See 8-10 patients per day (you will spend quality time (approximately 45 minutes) with your patients.
Many of the FNPs I speak to are required to see 30-40 patients per day...and then have significant work to do once they are at home, not too mention "Burn-out".

Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is part of the clinical operations team and will provide assessments to members in various settings including hospital related clinics. The NP will meet AOH standards of care for quality, service, productivity and assesses patient health by meeting with patients during the clinic visit.
Responsibilities
Perform health assessments, offer health education, generate physician referrals, develop care plans, coordinate care activities, and initiate case management referrals
Documents via EMR according to AOH guidelines and protocols
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
Follows federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Consults with the manager to ensure compliance with company guidelines and participate in risk and quality management programs, clinical meetings and other meetings as required
Collaborates with physicians, social workers, family, key care givers and any appropriate ancillary medical personnel
Implements overall quality assurance activities, assessing, planning, and administering health care individualized to the member and consistent with AOH policies and protocols
Is compliant with OSHA, CLIA, State Board of Nursing and Federal DEA Board of regulations
Participates in all mandatory compliance and other training programs, seeks guidance for compliance-related concerns and adheres to all applicable laws, regulations and ACT One Health policies and procedures
Refers members to quality, case management and disease management programs as necessary
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Master’s Degree required OR commensurate experience and satisfactory completion of NP licensure
Current RN and NP licensure in state of practice, Board certification by AANP or ANCC and Current CPR certification
Minimum 1-year clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in geriatric, adult, emergency, or family practice setting
Demonstrates ability to recognize conditions, characteristics, and behaviors that place seniors at risk.
Pursues feedback, continuing education, and professional development.
Possesses previous experience interdisciplinary teams and on special projects
